In one month we will celebrate our sweet girl being in Heaven for four years. As parents we want to provide the best for our children but on November 30th, 2013 my water broke unexpectedly 19 weeks early. Consumed with grief and this unexpected situation, we had no time to shop or purchase the perfect outfit that our daughter deserved to be laid to rest in. I instead gladly accepted the teeny hat someone had made and donated to the hospital. I then called a precious friend and asked her to knit a gown for Allie Grace.
I will continue to make hats to donate and if any of you knit or sew or want to donate a new small plush toy/ blankie you are encouraged and welcome to do so in memory of Allie Grace. I will be gathering NEW or handmade hats, blankets, & small stuffed animals all this month. I hope to make a donation to Catawba and Frye hospitals on Allie’s Birthday December 1st.
